Stephanie Sikkes (b. 1986) brings her inspiration from people, travels, movies, pop-culture and art into a mix of portraiture, documentary and fashion. By combining digital and analogue techniques she experiments with different nuances of photography, resulting in an eclectic and spontaneous narrative. Through her photographic practice, she wants to create a forum for female representation and diversity.
She is working and living in Oslo, Norway.
Background:
After completing a BA in fashion design in Denmark 2010, Stephanie worked for several years as a designer, in Stockholm, LA and Oslo. Coming home to Oslo, she pursued a lifelong dream, studying and working with photography. In 2022 she finished her higher professional degree at Bilder Nordic School of photography, and now works with different personal projects and clients around Norway.
